My first thought when I saw this pop up on my Google Reader page was”Ooo, missionary. Let’s read this one”. Of course though, coming from the pope, there is far more in the title than I gather on first glance. A missionary is someone who goes somewhere there is a need, where there is some sort of void that needs to be filled. Here, it is the need for joy, a need that goes unnoticed so often, because we allow its absence to feel normal. Crazy thing is, we are being individually called to aid this mission.
