About Furman CCM
Furman Catholic Campus Ministries is a religious organization on Furman University’s campus in Greenville, SC that fosters spiritual growth in its Catholic population through the sacraments, prayer, and fellowship.
————————————————-
Mass is offered in Daniel Chapel every Sunday at 6:30 pm. Also, every Wednesday night we come together in the Garden Room of the chapel for dinner at 7:30 pm and a discussion at 8 pm on various topics related to our faith.
Since we as Catholics believe in an apostolic Church, we take part in various apostolates throughout the Greenville area, some of which include: tutoring and child care at St. Anthony of Padua School, visiting the sick, and a new pro-life apostolate (through a new campus organization: Furman Students for Life).
Our goals are summed up quite nicely in this prayer:
Glory to you, O Lord our God, Your love calls us to be your people. By sharing our many and diverse gifts we share in your mission. We ask you, Lord, to shape us into a community of faith. Nourish us by your word and sacraments that we may grow into the image of Jesus.
Through the power of your Holy Spirit, heal us that we, in turn, may heal the wounded. Form us to be instruments of love, justice, and peace in our land, and send us to proclaim your saving work.
Renew us, Lord, that we may renew the face of the earth. Amen.
At this time, we invite you to explore our other pages, including our main page with articles and entries of all subjects within the large umbrella that is Catholicism. You can also head on over to our Officer page, where you’ll find a brief introduction to our CCM leadership. Our Events page lets everyone know about major events happening in CCM, and our Apostolate page summarizes our apostolates and provides some details.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email us at: furmanccm@gmail.com …we look forward to hearing from you! Until then, God love you!
Note: Links in the Blogroll on the Home Page do not necessarily reflect the official stance of Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM). CCM does not support anything in direct opposition to the Magisterium. We try to make available enough resources in order to facilitate a free, open environment for discussion. Any article that is directly posted will, if considered to be in opposition to Catholic teaching, be marked as such. These kinds of articles are particularly good for comments and discussions on the blog, for this blog is partly functioning to provide a place for pleasant discussion :)
